This is a poem I wrote after I recieved the birth search results from Holt Korea with them telling me my umma declined any contact, to meet me or even send me a photo of herself.

This was based off of a recurring nightmare I had for months after that rejection… where I would be going to her funeral, open up the casket, and there she was- a woman with no face….

Trip to Korea, big perspective shifts, escaping toxic people and enviroments…. forgiveness.
